Yesterday we hosted the wedding and wedding reception of Katie and Glen. It was a fantastic day and everyone had a brilliant time! Katie and Glen have been together for 5 years. Katie and Glen both knew they wanted to get married and that they had found ‘the one’ so there wasn’t a proposal involved. They met through mutual friends at a pub and went on their first date to Coffee #1 in Chepstow and immediately hit it off!
They decided upon a pewter colour scheme because originally Katie wanted black but Glen didn’t like that idea so they compromised! They went for two chair cover sashes put together – black and silver, which looked absolutely stunning.
Riley- Katie’s page boy who was 22 months old was adorable and loved playing in the Castle all day!
For their first dance, Katie’s younger sister Zoe sang an acoustic rendition of Emeli Sande’s ‘Where I Sleep’. She was accompanied by her friend Justin on guitar. Katie and Glen chose the song because they felt it best describes how they feel about each other.
Katie and Glen said they had a fantastic day and could not fault the service. They will be coming back for our Winter Ball in October. We look forward to seeing them again then!
