“Ant surprised me by taking me to an open day at Clearwell Castle.”

“Ant heard by word of mouth how amazing the weddings at Clearwell Castle were and he always knew my dream was to get married in a Castle.”

“We fell in love with the Castle straight away!”

Amy stayed in the Castle grounds on the Thursday in our North Lodge as did Anthony in our Keepers Cottage.

The Wedding Day

Amy and Anthony enjoyed a day of celebrations at Clearwell Castle on Friday 11th May 2018.

A 1.30pm ceremony in our ballroom saw Amy and Anthony take their vows. Amy wore a beautiful lace dress that had been chosen by both her and Anthony. The illusion back and button detailing looking exquisite.

“Our ceremony felt very short but sweet!”

Amy was walked down the aisle by her dad whilst waiting for her was an emotional husband to be.

The soundtrack to Amy’s entrance:
Stormzy
Blinded by your grace

Amy, Anthony and their family and friends exited the Ballroom, for the newly married couple it was now time to celebrate.

Following the ceremony it was time for food and drink along with photos.

The couple chose for their welcome drinks:
Mojito
Moscow Mule
Bellini

Canapes were also served.

A heart shaped photograph on the croquet lawn provided a unique shot that looked great!

When it came to personalisation:
“Everything was royal gold! The scatter crystals, chair bows, gold 3D butterflies on our homemade post box, a touch of gold on our 4 tier wedding cake. We had a world map for our seating plan and pictures of our holidays on the tables. We had pink and white flowers on the tables also.”

Anthony’s outfit fitted the theme also with a gold bow tie and pocket square being worn and a pink rose. Amy’s tiara and belt also fitting the theme.

For the majority of people the wedding breakfast consisted of:
Carrot and Coriander Soup
Chicken Saltimbocca
Baked Pecan Nut Praline Cheesecake

The meal was followed by speeches.

“We had four funny speeches and toasted with fizz!”

The evening concluded in The Cellar Bar.

“If we could do it all again, we’d change nothing! It was perfect, literally everything we dreamed of! We decided everything together so we were both so happy seeing everything come together on the big day.”
