Having attended a wedding 7 years previous, Claire had already fallen in love with Clearwell Castle, thus after Kenny had proposed to Claire in the Maldives whilst on holiday, the couple booked to visit us at the first chance they had.
Claire nearly didn’t attend the meal at sunset at which Kenny proposed because she had a facial, however on the beach the couple became engaged.
With the wedding plans the couple used Pinterest for ideas and Kenny and Claire stuck to a budget!
The night before the wedding Claire stayed with us in our Keepers Cottage and Kenny had night before food, drinks and a stay with us in The Clear Well.
Claire and Kenny went for an autumn wedding in October surrounded by family and friends.
The Autumn theme was throughout the Castle and not just outside, they had pumpkins, conkers and leaves. Red, orange and brown in colour.
A round of applause took place as Claire walked down the aisle with her Dad. Claire’s Dad had found great determination to give Claire away in the Ballroom as back in January he had suffered from illness.
Kir Royale was the couples welcome drink of choice and this was enjoyed with a selection of canapes including Tempura King Prawns and Lamb Lollipops.
Ham Hock Terrine was followed by a main course of chicken and a dessert of Apple and Blackberry Tart.
Claire and Kenny went for a mini-moon in the Cotswolds but will be returning to the Maldives for their honeymoon.
