A last minute break to Devon, returning to the destination of their first get away together, Nicola and Matthew were admiring the beautiful Sidmouth views when he presented her with a ring.
“My eyes lit up when we drove through the arch but as soon as I stepped into the ceremony room I said to myself “I’m getting married here”. Matthew knew this was my dream venue just looking at the excitement on my face.”
Matthew spent a lot of time researching every detail from the venue itself to the smallest of décor.
“The venue was perfect! Stunning grounds, open space, warmth by the open fire & friendly atmosphere.”
Burnt wooden place names, a bark effect wedding cake and Owls swooping down to deliver their rings; an Autumn theme ran throughout their October Wedding.
Nicola was wearing a Sophia Tolli full length fishtail gown, complemented by a matching Pearl set. For her ‘Something Old’ Nicola had her Grandmother’s wedding band stitched onto the inside of her gown.
Matthew styled a 3 piece tweed suit along with a mint coloured Dickie bow tie to match the Bridesmaids.
“I had my Dad walk me down the aisle ending with a kiss on the cheek before giving me away. At the most nerve-racking times my Dad always puts me at ease.”
The Sound Track was Build a Home by Cinematic Orchestra.
