Moving in to a new home would probably be enough excitement by itself for most people. But not for Chris.
Chris made the day even more special by proposing to Natalie on the doorstep to their new home on their moving day!
Natalie and her bridal party spent the night before the big day in our Keepers Cottage making full use of the hot tub.
The morning of the wedding saw them move of to the Gresham Suite.
“It provided us with the space we needed and the views of the surroundings of the castle which were stunning. It was also lovely to see guests arrive.”
Chris was on hand to greet arriving guests wearing his Army number one dress. A drink calming his nerves.
Natalie was calm: “I only got emotional a couple of times – one being when Chris had organised a bagpiper as a surprise for the wedding (as i am Scottish) and i was able to watch the bagpiper from the window of the Gresham Suite. Another was when my father walked in and saw me for the first time in my dress.”
Vows. Welcome drinks. Canapes. Speeches. Three course meal. Tea and Coffee. Evening reception.
A beautiful day for a beautiful couple.
“I married my love, best friend and soul mate at Clearwell Castle and it was the wedding we’ve always dreamed of and more. Not only is it a beautiful venue with stunning surroundings, the staff made our day flow perfectly.”
A Friday the 13th engagement – not so unlucky for Natalie & Chris! It ended with a wedding at Clearwell Castle!
