‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse’; with the exception of 98 guests and The Castle Team!
‘The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in the hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there’; yes we sure did have our very own Father Christmas sat by the fire place!
‘The children were nestled all snug in their beds; while visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads’; our waiting team along with other staff members were sporting their pyjamas while serving the meal, the children were most definitely not tucked up in bed!
And from there I am sure many of you are familiar with the poem – A visit from St. Nicholas by Clement Clarke Moore. This; our inspiration for our annual Winter Ball, which was held on Friday 15th December 2017.
Take a look at our Winter Ball in pictures…
With our 2017 Winter Ball being such a success we are already looking forward to our 2018 events and we can’t wait to see you at them!
‘ “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night” ‘
