Clearwell Castle is beautiful both inside and out. The interior was clean and very well presented, our guests loved the grandeur of the entrance room and were very impressed with the Ceremony space.
They found their rooms to be straight out of a period piece like Pride and Prejudice, and loved the whole vibe of the castle. We found the cellar to be our favourite space, the curved ceilings, dance floor, bar, and disco ball really helped our guests find the party atmosphere for the evening of our wedding.
The rooms were right out of Pride and Prejudice. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were really clean and tidy. Our guests loved the subtle theming of the rooms as well. Communication on the build-up to the wedding was fantastic. This is where the staff really shined. The bar and serving staff were outstanding, there was too please and nothing was too much. They were quick to serve and keep cool when serving the food. We were very pleased with all the staff on the day.
Nick, our DJ, absolutely smashed it. He only took requests from me and my husband, the playlist was exactly what we wanted, and we found it hard to leave the dance floor, as did our guests. Thank you all so much for your support on the day. Emily was out wedding planner, and she was outstanding. ‘The best food I’ve ever had at a wedding’ One of our guests said the morning after the wedding. The food was hot, delicious and flavourful. It was even better than we remembered at the tasting. There were so many empty plates as we walked around the room.
