First of all, the team know what they’re doing. They are extremely organised, since the first enquiry to the end of the wedding day and the next morning, they have exceeded our expectations. They have made it so easy for us.
We just needed to make a few decisions, but all the right questions were asked and delivered exactly as per our requests, they took care of everything. Lucy, our Wedding Manager was brilliant to work with and she’s lovely. We have expected at least some things to go wrong on the day, but nothing did. Lucy and Team are very experienced.
We have also been able to visit the castle as many times as we wanted prior to the wedding. We went to check out all the HUGE rooms with cocktails in our hands and canapes being served too (it was useful to see all the rooms prior and after booking the venue as we have allocated rooms to our guests and could then see who is staying where. There’s a jacuzzi in the honeymoon suite!). The dinner/tasting date was amazing too. Food was again, so much better than what we thought it would be, it was excellent and our guests said the same. Cocktails and canapes were brilliant, everyone loved them! And let’s not forget the evening buffet and morning breakfast. Excellent food!
And for those of you having the wedding in the colder months – do not worry, the castle is very warm, they have fire places and can increase heating for you as much as needed! And best of all – you get the whole place to yourself! There will be no strangers lurking around, just you and your guests. We could not recommend this place and team who work there any more!
