Evening reception

During your reception, guests can first enjoy drinks in The Cocktail Bar which is fully stocked with draft beers, ciders and wine. This ground level bar is just a stones throw from the Cocktail terrace and is perfect for celebrating during the daylight hours.

The Cellar Bar has been designed with your evening reception in mind; located on the lower level, this vaulted room provides guests with a chance to let their hair down on the dance floor. Our in-house DJ will play all your favourite tunes and give your guests an unforgettable night, or there’s space for your own band to play if you choose.

For guests with little ones, the Children’s Room is a fun and colourful space that provides toys and games to keep them entertained. Opposite you’ll find the Quiet Room, perfect for taking a much-need break from the party to relax and unwind. With exclusive use of the whole grounds on the day of your wedding, the Library and Drawing Room will also be available, with the latter providing views over the croquet lawn, which guests can partake in. The Cocktail Terrace is also a quiet escape to sit and enjoy the sunset or a great place for welcome drinks and canapes. You can also consider a hog roast or BBQ as an added extra as well.

If you want to make your evening reception extra special, you can add a Prosecco Bar, Hot Chocolate Station, or even a Candy Station, among others, to give your guests an evening they’ll never forget.
