We are delighted to announce that Clearwell Castle has won an award at Hitched Wedding Awards 2024 in the Castle Wedding Venue Category – this was awarded was thanks to all the amazing reviews & testimonials that our couples gave us in 2023!
The Castle was also voted ‘Best Castle Wedding Venue’ at the British Wedding Awards 2020! This is an incredible achievement after being shortlisted this category at both Hitched’s UK Wedding Awards 2019 AND the British Wedding Awards 2019! We were voted ‘Best UK Wedding Venue’ in the British Wedding Awards 2018 by our couples & readers of Wedding Ideas Magazine for the third year running – fingers crossed we can make four in a row!
We were finalists for the same awards in 2015. In addition, we were shortlisted as ‘Best Castle Wedding Venue’ at the UK Wedding Awards 2017, were regional winners at the English Wedding awards 2016, and were overall winners of the Wedding Ideas Awards in 2012 and 2010.

So many our guest commented on the quality of the food and that it was the best wedding they had been too! The children loved the magic of the castle and opportunity to get outside and see the grounds.
The grooms family had a fabulous time staying in the cottages the night before and our guests at both the The Castle and The Wyndham had a fabulous stay on the night of the wedding.

Phaedra was incredible in helping us feel relaxed and organised in the run up to our wedding. During the wedding all the staff were so attentive, our guests were so well looked after, and we could relax knowing that we could just enjoy the day and the staff would get us when we were needed!
