Research is key when it comes to choosing a wedding venue. We searched, we compared, we visited and we took advice, and after it all, we found our dream venue, Clearwell Castle. The grounds are stunning, the rooms are breath taking, and the list of boxes the venue’ ticks’ just goes on and on.
We were able to feed and rest weary travellers when flights were cancelled, we held a pre-wedding party the night before at the venues very own historic public house. Summer, in charge of the Wyndham public house was fantastic. It was a sheer delight to witness the faces of guests as they drove up to the castle entrance, revealing medieval splendour like no other.
The amazing staff relieved us of all stress, with Hannah, our very own wedding manager controlling the whole event like a seasoned professional. We can not thank Ann the venue manager and her whole staff enough. All our suppliers and contractors were well looked after and all points of contact were flawless. The way we helped plan the running order and how it just flowed is all down to the experience of the Castle staff. We know how important reviews are for wedding venues, and if you are reading this, you are probably doing your research, so we want to convey what a superb venue Clearwell Castle really is.
