Hannah and Daniel, Bride and Groom

Dan and I attended an Open Day in May 2016 just a few weeks after we got engaged. I walked into the Ballroom and felt this instant pang of excitement – I had to walk down that aisle!! Having spoken to a couple of other venues, Clearwell ticked every box, but in the end we chose them over everyone else because the service was exceptional from the word go (not to mention the setting is breath taking!) We were given a quote on the day, and following that, the Events Manager was able to answer every question we threw at her in no time at all – we were never kept waiting for a response! As the wedding came closer, we met our Wedding Planner (this woman deserves a medal for what we put her through!!) There were a number of sensitive matters that arose in the run up to the day, and she was a miracle worker, NOTHING was a problem and nothing phased her. Myself, my mum, bridesmaids and daughters stayed in the Keepers cottage the night before, which I highly recommend, and Dan, his men & my son stayed in North Lodge – this meant the day started off super chilled for all of us. The day itself was wonderful, I cannot put into words just how wonderful it was, everything was just perfect – we were honestly in this bubble of happiness from start to finish. The staff were exceptional, they made everything look flawless, and again, nothing was a problem. The food was too good for words – our friend who is vegan said that her meal was the best vegan meal she had ever had at a wedding (big Brownie points!). I could literally go on about how amazing our experience was forever and a day. Everything about Clearwell Castle makes it the epitome of the fairytale wedding – anyone considering booking would not regret it! Thank you to everyone who made our day so perfect and beautiful.
