Recently the Government has increased the amount of time required to give notice for marriage. As from Monday 2nd March 2015 the notice period will be extended from 15 days to 28 days.
British couples will have to give 28 days notice of their intention to marry or form a civil partnership. For couples including a non-EEA national, the Home Office may extend the notice period from 28 days to 70 days.
For all our couples who are still yet to give notice, more information can be found on www.gov.uk.
